I learned to knit when I was seven years old and have GREATLY improved since then. When I graduated from college I worked in a job that left me feeling like I hadn’t accomplished much by the end of the day. I was anxious and lonely and I started knitting again! I learned a lot and realized how life giving and good it was for me. Soon I had more hats than I could wear and was running out of space in my tiny apartment so I opened an Etsy shop. It brings me so much joy to create things for other people and designing patterns for others to use is an amazing creative outlet for me. It’s my dream to be able to knit and design full time so I can have a flexible schedule and be home with my future family!
One of the Bible verses that the Lord continually brings me to is Isaiah 43:2, reinforcing that He has called me, specifically, by my name. Most of the products I make, sell, and design are named after people I know who inspire me and those around them to live as they were created to live: in the identity they have been given in Christ.
